Your definition of Progressivism is wrong. Progressivism seeks to change the status quo to an entirely new state, which wasn't there before.
There are non-progressive Movements that change the status quo by going backwards to a previous status quo. They're not progressive at all.

| >>1073236

What you wrote >Progressivism seeks to change the status quo to an entirely new state, which wasn't there before.

What I wrote >change of status quo regardless of if its good or bad

Show me where these 2 fundamentally conflate for one of them to be considered wrong.

Also I think you and many people here don't know the difference between conservation and regression.

| >>1073236 >>1073238
There's no way you two faggots takes anything in this thread seriously

| >>1073239 >I can't believe people like to have discussions, this is wrong, I need to project myself on everyone to get attention

| >>1073229
So for the election, do you pick ZIONISM or ZIONISM? Choose carefully, goy.

| >>1073241
My advice to you, my nigger in christ, is to take nothing seriously but the pursuit of god.

| >god

| >>1073245 I don't understand how engaging in simple discussion is "taking it seriously", for all I care, if throwing slurs is a response to me, then Im the one having fun here, cuz at least I'm not a braindead clown.

As far as Im concerned >>9b6972 can't read and thats it, its fun to discuss and exchange information even if not taking it seriously.

Injecting serious "discussions" into this absolutely-not-serious thread because you got triggurd by literally nothing is what makes you a faggot, you clueless snowflake faggot.

You're too dumb for the internet. Unplug yourself immediately.

| I will explain the joke: at >>1073255 if you people could read, there would be very glaring fact that I pinged myself there, saying that I couldn't read...

Now unplug your own asses, it helps estimating brainwaves.

I will explain the joke: The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called "Sneed's Feed & Seed", where feed and seed both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Sneed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Chuck's", implying that the two words beginning with "F" and "S" would have ended with "-uck", rhyming with "Chuck". So, when Chuck owned the shop, it would have been called "Chuck's Feed and Seed".

Zionism is not progressive, but Antizionsim isn't progressive either.
Nationalism in general was progressive during the feudal era dominated by empires ruled by nobility and clerus. It came with the bourgeoisie rising to power. In todays globalized capitalist world nationalism (including zionism) is as backwarded as it is backwarded to have absoulte feudal rulers, like many european countries still had 150 years ago (and some arabian countries still have)

| It is important to understand that "the Nation" has no value to the ruling capitalist class except using it to turn members of the working class against each other before they unite in solidarity. The same is with religion and racism.

| If palestiansians and israelis would unite and abolish the reign of their reactionist leaders like the religious fundametalists of Hamas and the current fascistoid government coalition in israel, they had a future worth living in.
Foreing powers like the USA or arabian States are only interested in Zionism/Antizionism, as long it serves what they tell the people is "their national interest". It's seven lies multiplied by seven.

| >>1073297 that's a good one

| In the USA, the whole thing has been getting dumber since 911...Left vs Right the Rightwing vs Leftwing all a game...but I admit the Open Border stuff had the Leftwing looking far more crazy. Canada used to be the envoy of some but its Freedoms are gone, it seems beyond 'Lost', Europe is regressing.

| >>1073678 Like how japanese people have crunching and 1000 unspoken social rules and if you are a foreigner they exclude you from everything.

| >>1073691 they don't even know what having sex is!

Like, really cool and clean place, rich history, generally polite people, very affordable wages and all, but work culture and some social dynamics are just bad, and like anything bad, it should be clowned on.

| ITT US and ruskis who complain about other cultures despite not ever having owned a passport nor traveled aboard even once in their lives.

Lol

| >>1073694
answer.

| >>1073696
and stop pretending you know who you're talking to. you don't, you can't remote view through a screen, you're just making shit up and taking it as fact.

| >>1073503
The liberal "Freedom" in your western industry nations was stolen from people in development countries in the first place. USA and Canada are even entirely stolen countries. Please stop whining about "your" freedom and "your" country. They were stolen, you never deserved them and technically you probably don't own anything of it, except you belong to the small clique of oligarchs who actually own all and eventually gave you a small, temporary share for being their dog.

| >>1073698 no! (It's doing worse)

| But for entirely different reasons, and japanese sure love to migrate here btw so its even.

and dox myself? pathetic attempt.
how about this: in khyrghyz culture, it is tradition to go kidnap the woman you want to marry. in european culture, it is tradition to not do that.
again, if what stands in place for your opinions is being a pointless pedantic postpodernist pederastic FAGGOT, then you won't be capable of forming an opinion on the matter.

| some countries work better than others, because their culture is better than others. ergo their mentality, philosiphy, social values etc.

| >>1073720
talking about which countries you've visited isn't doxing, retard.

answer.

So now tell us of all the cultures you've spent a significant time in and what you learned there.

No more excuses. No more evading the question.

Prove to us all that you're a well traveled man who learned about these cultures from prolonged first hand experience and not a pathetic phony who never had a passport bor left their hone country. It should be easy to do if it's true.

| >>0e2ce7

| >>1073747
I think it's a huge misconception that "living over a certain time in a different place" is the only way to learn about other cultures. In the opposite: It isn't even guaranteed, a person learns anything, just by being there. There are people who just don't want to learn something new or give up convenient stereotypes.
Culture is not an absoulute determinator for everything. There are important universal natural and social issues - and globalization still goes on.

| Also the term "culture" is very comprehensive. It could refer to a lot phenomenons that aren't necessarily connected to a certain place. For example urban subculture and pop culture. And many cultural developments are heavily determined by environmental factors. So if people live near the sea, it's more likely they worship a fish or a wind god, while people who live in the mountains more likely worship gods of stone or the sun.

| And the development of modern technology and industry will make it more likely people stop worship archaic wind- or sun gods, since their technology allowed them to be more independent from natural phenomenons. And there will always be people being skeptical about those new development looking backwards - this is already one very important similarity across all cultures.

| In my experience cultural differences matter less the higher the social status of people is. In the end most of them will wear expensive suits, play golf, buy one ore more villas, jetset around the globe meeting with other rich people and amuse themselves about the stupid mob that fight about if god is a fish, a rock or an old man.

No more excuses. No more evading the question.

Prove to us all that you're a well traveled man who learned about these cultures from prolonged first hand experience and not a pathetic phony who never had a passport nor left their home country. It should be easy to do if it's true...
