The Trump administration is ending the federal government’s annual report on hunger in America. The decision comes two and a half months after President Donald Trump signed legislation sharply reducing food aid to the poor.

Sucks for Southerners and rural people AKA all those states that overwhelmingly voted for him. I feel for the kids that will be hit by this, but damn, their parents voted for this.

tl;dr Trump is cancelling an annual government survey that measures hunger in America, rather than allow it to show hunger increasing under his tenure.
Residents of red states will be hit the hardest since that's where most of the food stamp benefits goes to.

it's unclear to me who she is calling bots though... is it the right wing trolls spamming this site with political posts and vitrol, or the core users who wants them to shut up?

trump is like a hurricane, loud, chaotic, fucking epic, kind of unstoppable, messes up everything, doesn't damage the oligarch bunkers, and seriously worrying for the future... it does lift up the swamap and sprays it a bit everywhere, but not exactly as expected... and at what cost also... that's coming from me, rightoid-san, which is really saying something! and yet this thread is more of a hyper-capitalism vs kind-of-socialist type a thing. don't get it twisted

you have to understand that at his core, trump is a hotel manager. when he came in he saw big deficit and debt and like the hotel manager he is he immediately went with cuts in spending in order to balance the books (DOGE) he saw that a lot of people were coming in and yet there wasn't much of a profit, so he decided to raise the price of a room (tarrifs, now h1b) since for him it's a supply-and-demand issue.

now he's figuring out that the "guests" are getting complementary snacks for free (food vouchers) and he wants to stop that since it's additional expenditure...

>>1072417 No, Trump is not running the country trough the eyes of a hotel manager... That's just... too fucking dumb... holy shit.

>>1072418 Those guests are mostly his own voters he's killing though. The red states are economonically a burden to the blue states and there are talks about blue states banding together to withhold aid to red states in the future because of how destructive these red states have started to act.
The red states and the poorest of the poor don't have any barganing power in this, but they all vote for Trump, the guy that's fucking them in the ass. Leopards eating faces.

>>1072417 >you have to understand that at his core, trump is a hotel manager. Do we? I bet if Trump would ever had to manage a hotel, it would be bankrupt within a few weeks. I'm sure this guy is completely incompetent regarding any kind of actual management. The only talent he has is to sell shit to dumb people. Usually this would make him a good second-hand car dealer or worse: A successful snakeoil seller. Unfortunately he was born rich and fails to understand this fact.

>>1072416 >doesn't damage the oligarch bunkers Which isn't a good thing... >and seriously worrying for the future Worrying for the future He's worrying about a scheme of the future fabricated with tons of rightoid lies. Everyone who is sane should worry for a future that is majorly shaped by people like Trump.

>>1072417 And regarding "DOGE" and "saving" public money, this was even officially not the main intention. The main motivation was a political cleanse of public institutions from what Trumpists believe to be "marxists". The actual "savings" are ridiculous compared to the politically motivated additional expanses the trump administration makes - especially for military and "security" (first of all for his clan and their minions)
