Megastudy Looks Into Reducing Political Polarization in the U.S.

| A megastudy led by Jan Voelkelat Cornell tested 25 strategies to reduce political polarization among over 32,000 surveyed Democrats and Republicans. The study found that 23 of the strategies significantly reduced partisan animosity, while six effectively reduced anti-democratic values.

| The research highlights the need for systemic interventions and consistent implementation to sustain these effects. Promising applications include adjusting social media algorithms and promoting democratic values through media and political elites. The study emphasizes the importance of large-scale collaborations to put these findings into actions.

| I want to live in a happy country which cares but I’m scared the masses will just vote for what looks good instead of fixing problems. But I still think it could work. C-can you do these strategies on me? I want you to love me and to vote together and make the countries all good and care

| The only real way to get rid of polarization is to make it so the average person is happy with their life circumstances

Hey!! don’t be polarized. I have trouble remembering things, but that I think we’re supposed to see other people who are different who are nice to us and who we identify with and share things with and understand each other want and think about how bad it is when Democratic systems break down. I think that girl was kind of getting at that, but maybe she had trouble reading the article.
I actually Those things or trying to more.

| If Trump doesn't get in and empower Pitler and global autocrats this needs to be a key move going forward.

I on principle I disagree with conservatives and dislike a lot of right wing policies but I do think working with never Trump folks and other factions is a good thing right now.

I think they come over to policies which help me when they know and love me better. I was reading the wikipedia page for 'the brass check' and apparently all the media being in the hands of a few big corpos is a big problem limiting information.
