Most of the cyberpunk nowadays is just a rehashing of the perception of futuristic dystopia from the late 80s and 90s. Deus Ex cybernetic living and Hong Kong style clusters of city-scape canyons made from occupied buildings and maybe glows of neon and LED.
Has there been a more interesting take on cyberpunk in the past two decades or even a derivative of cyberpunk thats has caught your eye?

It simply just feels like were in the last moments before cyberpunk becomes a launching point for other subgenres to blossom into greater trending appeal. Like how vaporwave did with all the various [blank]-wave and [blank]-core and those are whats more popular now. i.e. chillwave vs vaporwave
