Anti-machine

| It's a bit hypocritical for me to say this through a machine, but I draw the line at automated food machines.

As much as I love instant ramen, there is something special about eating and cooking that makes humans human and drive the diversity of culture everywhere.

Maybe food packaging can be random, but the horror when I saw machines that COOKS is indescribable. Down with fast food and microwave food! Learn to cook today!

Wtf is this brainfart. I think I meant to say "automated" not random

I'm fine with that. There's no need to put your soul into packaging wares.

Automated cooking on the other hand is soulless and lame.

| And disgusting, as far as I've heard so far. Apparently the automated cocktail maker is also pretty disgusting (taste) as well.

| Who cares if some robot flips burgers. Non-franchise food joints wont go out of fashion either way.

I disagree. When designed well and well maintained, automated chefs can make delicious food.

What they can't do is make unique food. Every time they cook something it will taste the exact same.

Which is exactly what a chain restaurant wants. But it won't put places like Waffle House or high end restaurants out of business, because part of the luxury will be the unique randomness of it being done by hand.

And being able to customize exactly what you want, I meant to add.

Waffle house isn't a luxury restaurant
