Apartment setup

| I'm moving to out to an apartment soon probably, trying to give it a cyberpunk look. Don't really know where to start on it besides the leds and other lights I already have. Anyone have any ideas?

| Squat in an abandoned building, bring/make some friends, begin a new life in the shadows.
Good luck, chummer.

| >>a03d43 extremely tempting

| Honestly that does sound tempting as fuck

| >>058e15 youre not wrong, just gotta find people willing to live in one

| Get some old, cheap, or downright obsolete tech and throw em around the place. Must either appeal to your nostalgic sense or is supposed to be a convenience but breaks easily.

A kotatsu and lots of beer on top.

Dilapidated room optional, but avoid if too maintained.

Mixing with other aesthetics is fine, although preferably messy with a semi-mainstream sub-culture.

Every product in your room must be a corporate brand.

| Steal office furniture. Tables and uncomfortable chairs. If you can find an old CRT monitor smash it and take out the electrob gun. Set up a cubicle. Fill it with porn and booze bottles and sex toys and all kinds of shit you'd never be allowed to take to work. Just go nuts and vandalize all your acquisitions because they're yours now. Oh and LED xmas lights are decorative AND practical.

| >>289187 I like where your head is hell yeah

| >>288616 oh a kotatsu would be cool as hell

| >>289439 i'm actually thinking about getting a kotatsu because of va11halla. gimme jills bedroom pls

| All this just makes me think of the abandoned house in Fight Club. Which probably isn’t a bad place to start.
Here’s stuff I use if you need inspiration

>VHS tape filled with LED’s as a lamp
>mid 2000’s digital stereo
>comic books and beer bottles all over the place

Just collect stuff you think is cool

| >>289533 Def using those ideas, and i collect weapons that work?

| Keep it dark at all times. Cover the window with some black covers if you have to. Hang up some purple and red lights everywhere and put up some movie posters of Robocop, the Terminator, maybe some Matrix and Blade Runner.

When it gets to the holidays maybe you can add in a neon pumpkin or Christmas tree. If the aesthetic has some wiggle room.

| >>47cb3c the place typically lights well i hardly have to worry about it being darkish and it does, going for cyberpunk with some cleaner futuristic lines as well.

| get extra long cables and plug e-erything into the furthest outlet

| *everything

| >>231899 hell yeah

| What I did to my room (which is super small) was to put all my cables on the top bed (I sleep in the bottom bed of a bunk bed) and they just kinda hang from there. I also use an old CRT TV that belonged to my parents and I play PS2 on it. I also stole an old mouse with trackball from my school and I have an old pCRT lying around which I open some times so that the components are visible, I think it gives the rest of the room a good touch

| Basically just surround yourself with old hardware and be miserable
