You could make it start on startup using systemctl and service files if you have systemd. I asked chatgtp and it was really easy!

I intentionally turned off auto start-up just "to save resources". I can turn it on and be serious about it if I wanted, if I had reason.

like, I actually got really sick lately of mega corpos controlling the internet, and deleting content I personally value due to censorship or other bullshit, so I'm thinking on buying some hard drives and start backuping all of the important stuff
| also internet addiction really makes me feel sick too, so I'm thinking about getting snipped from the internet. not forever (at least for now) but actually limit my access to it by snipping it at my home, so I'll feel safe there again and not reachable by other people (unless I'd want to)

Also a good point I recently heard about Cyberpunk media is that it is the speculation of the future from the past. Right now I think we kind of stop imagining what the future looks like and how grim it would look like if we let things continue.

That's really great g/u/rl! I had a really healing cry last night thinking about how I feel like I'm not fixing our world, and feel like a joke with some of the shit I allow to pollute my life, like advertisements. I'm going to make one of my thinkpads a 'fun' device and block all the fun stuff like here on the others. I think social support is REALLY important because it does make me feel like I matter, and take my self image seriously, but IDK so is focus.
| If you could connect with others who value the content you love and help each other and tell each other it's important I think that would be really great! You could start a private tracker maybe? I bet it's not that hard. You could even use i2p if it's likely to see you persecuted in your country, though IDK if you could keep torrents private as easily that way. I hope you'll update us! I think it can feel bitter knowing your knowledge dies with you.
