Hard eroge rec
| Hard because it's intelligently crafted to be that way, or hard because it's jank af especially on the hardest difficulty? If the latter, I highly recommend Sword of Succubus. The bosses are too tanky, the hitboxes are atrocious, and sometimes you can softlock yourself due to fucked up geometry or fuck-if-I-know quest logic. It's a precious sparkling gem covered in steamy human excrement and I love it to death.
| Black Souls made me stop playing it after one of the first bosses that required 15 minutes of hitting the same combination of options and then switched to phase 2 and one-shotted me... And content warning, this game has dark themes, death of characters and loli.
