Took her out to a cafe had a great time and walked to my place. I gently pushed my hand against hers. Feeling her smooth skin and giving her a faint smile.
She smiled at me too so I took my chances and pushed my hand against hers once more. I swiftly followed up my initial move with an attempt to interlace fingers.
We held hands for a while but I felt like I was forcing her. I was right, she pulled back and left my hand dangling longing for a partner.
| Hand holding only feels natural when you're going steady and have gotten used to touching eachother. Holding hands as an adult with someone you barely know can be awkward or, like you said, feel a bit forced.
