You can absolutely change who you are attracted to.
Most people exist on a scale, not an absolute attraction.
There is also the issue of sexual vs romantic attraction. They are different things.

Being able to ignore or "choose" who you're attracted to isn't the same as actually not having an attraction, it's just repressing it.
Also I don't think the argument of sexual/romantic attraction comes into play here as op was only ever talking about their sexual attractions.
