"Forbidden Content"

| The account age has nothing to do with this. Tested it with my account(ten years old) and a newer one(one or two years old). Everything works fine with both of them.
I checked the "Show expunged Gallerys" option and typed in some tags.
If the gallery is still available in any way shape or form it should still work.
But the incomplete tags are a big problem. The "forbidden content" tag for example is not on all of the expunged gallerys. And some gallerys are just gone for good
| Checking "show expunged galleries" doesn't always work. For example, this exists: https://e-hentai.org/g/1409981/617df4379a/, but if you searched the artist Mon-Petit and checked expunged galleries that won't show up on exhentai.
It can only be found by searching it from Google, that's how I found it.
Finding forbidden stuff's weird
| Speaking of forbidden content, I've always wondered, how are they even still on the site? They're forbidden because of copyright right, yet they're not really gone. They're still there, just hidden. How is that allowed?

Maybe the whole "forbidden gallerys" works on bias of the admins, faulty scripts, or it was running fine until the Facku desaster derailed it? But as i said, I didn't use the function that much before the Wani takedowns. Only for some Lilith stuff.
| Some gallerys stay, some go, and even if some of them are deleted, the entry still remains in your favourites, or on google. Sadly makes the whole thing pretty confusing and unreliable.
| And for the legal part, i don't know how they manage these problems, but it might be related to the fact that they can still host loli, shota and bestiality stuff (which they weren't allowed to host either) simply by putting it on the fjords (or behind an idiot-filter, as i like to call it).
As stupid as it may sound, maybe that's already enough of a workaround? The fact that it is not readily available?
But that's just a wild guess on my part

fictional stories and art should not be a problem, legally. at least, in a sane and functional society. at any rate, theyre allowed to host such things. the copyright infringement is the only real legal issue

Anyway basically nothing on eh is every o really gone, sometimes it's ex only, hidden unless you have a link, hidden for admins only, or hidden for tenboro only from what I've heard, for the most part they never delete stuff and the API will often return info on things you can't see

On a technical level some content just got shifted from the surface web (e-h) to the 'deep web' (ex-h) while copyrighted material still remained 'unavailable'.
Seems like the copyright claims are handled on a global level so that it effects both sites.

| I don't suppose anyone know how to search for Forbidden Content/Expunged galleries on Exhentai/E-Hentai?
I know I can use the 'Forbidden Content' tag/check off 'expunged' and it shows all the expunged galleries but if I had any other tag all the entries disappear. Plus a bunch of forbidden galleries don't have tags so even if I could search expunged galleries with tags it'd still be hard.
