| I don't think they are against fan service but they value character development and a good story! I personally avoid fanservicey stuff so I'm not sure if any of those have the qualities they're looking for

These should be digestible, "safe" options for your friend.
They'll also enjoy Yurucamp, even if it's not what they're looking for.

Yknow I guess it really depends on the friends taste. But if they are your friend you probably have similair interests so just look what you liked when you started.

| they only saw one punch man and edgerunners so far. convinced them to watch rezero with me and they like it so far, now im thinking what else we could watch together. i think they will be more open to anime if we watch a couple more fun shows
