How to join japanese culture (if you are same poster)... Well... I can recommend you to watch boku no piko, it's decent anime.. But is here a lot spoilers so better just watch it without reading what it is about..
| After.. Honestly, i don't know.. I growed up on Pokemons, Sonic etc.. i just loved it xd I started to play videogames on PSP/PS2/Wii.. And i somehow always loved games what was made in Japan than in west.. When comes to music i'm really loving anything around eurobeat, nightcore, vocaloids, ost from touhou project etc.. Visual is just natural for me.. Yes i did easily adapt to small anonymous textboard, i'm in few anime communities on Discord..
| I'm visiting 3 animecons (used to 4, but was cancelled :c) every year, going to gamescom, i like to read about curiosities in Japan, also i sometimes watch some movies made in Japan like Sion Sono, Battle Royale, Goth etc. I like also to read around hardware history.. It's maybe affected me and i did study IT, Production and now Media.. I love lain, and i found va-11 hall-a on Steam.. I also like to read visual novels and so.. I think that it's full time hobby? xd
