I've recently begun watching the French dub of Cowboy Bebop and some Ghibli films to practice and they're actually pretty good. It's also given me more motivation to get back into anime. So if anyone from the 'tired of anime' thread is interested in another language, I recommend trying out the dubs on your free time.

Considering how bad most dubs in my native language is, I'm pretty dubious of anime dubs in *any* language. English I'm least worried about because it seems to have better support in recent years, but it's still not as good as it can be, I feel.

>>909992 studio Ghibli here is not really the best example because, iirc, they actually make sure no dubs are bad. In fact, I believe they are one of the reasons the US chilled out on changing too much stuff when dubbing cuz the studio was not happy about it.
