OP just didn't realize they only know bad tsunderes.
Good tsunderes are typically situational. For example, a mentor who can't be lovey dovey with her student, a villain who can't love the hero, or more simply and practically, Raven from Teen Titans.

While we're on this topic, I'd like to ask you my fellow g/a/ls, in what situations/contexts/conditions yandere girls could be seen as acceptable? Maybe if the yandere girl is not that mentally deranged..?

Being Yandere is a deranged mentality. The only difference between yanderes is how soon they started resorting to murder

Yandere that manipulates and gaslights rather than murder sounds like an idea.

Thats what a yandere does initially, but it will eventually escalate to murder

The yandere that gets continually shut down by the object of her obession being just as obsessed with her. Or when the obsessee love-bombs the yandere hard and long enough that it always sets the yandere off-balance
