What's your favorite mech, and why?

| My favorite mecha come from games over anime, typically. The Aegisknight from Xenogears scratches my "Badass with two shields as weapons" itch. The Predator from HAWKEN was pretty sick. I use a Shadowcat in MechWarrior.
With anime, I'd have to lean towards the Zaku models from Gundam, and the basic bitch choice of Evangelion's EVA-01. Honorary mention to Gunbuster, and the protagonist of Dragon's Heaven.

A lot of the BIG MECHA media borrows from each other.
There even used to be some cross over Macross mecha in BT fiction and games.

| I think I've been a little too vocal on a lot of imageboards about my love for mecha, so hey thatonemechAnon here.
Wondering what y'all's favorite mechs are? Anything counts, from FLCL's Canti to Macross' Valkyries.
Personally, I'm really into Lancer right now, and I cannot get over HORUS' Manticore.
