Good western anime?

| Not RWBY, i only watch 2 episode and i'm already bored.
Any good one?

| Like... animation that visually looks like it can be called an anime, but it's made by Western studios?

Avatar (the last airbender), but you've watched this obviously.

Castlevania

| Idk if it counts, but Arcane. I hate League with a passion, but that show is insane. Some of the best and most unique visuals I've seen in animation + top tier story and music.

Other than that, just these two >>831222

| The first Teen Titans show I guess. And I haven't watched it yet, but I heard Onyx Equinox is alright despite budget issues. Unique setting too, don't see too many stories based on Aztec myths after all.

Ehh. I will say that the first season of Castlevania kept me interested, but the other seasons have various issues that makes me not recommend it.

The Castlevania show has always had weird pacing issue. Too many long stretches of basically nothing. Unlike most people I'm not really impressed by the writing either (it's good, but not long-stretches-of-nothing-but-talking good).

Always worth it for all the action scenes, though. Still thinking of how well-done S4E6 was.

I couldn't say the writing was any good either, it kept juggling way too many plots. Along with its terrible pacing, it left them with weak payoff. S3 being the worst, since it felt like such massive filler that you could probably skip over it, and it wouldn't affect the writing much.

| Personally on the Castlevania thing I feel like the main draw is the characters. The characters are solid and the banter actually sounds like real people as opposed to the typical anime banter where it's like, who the fuck talks like that, you feel?
That an the animation is what I personally liked about it.
