Netflix is making a scott pilgrim anime

| Well it's not really netflix, but the people who made devil man crybaby and brian lee o'maley collaborating.
It wil be more focused on the comics.
Hope we're going to see scott being questionned for once.
I hate how the movie just makes him an alpha incel (and also, micheal sera is in the movie, pretty cringe)

| Casting Michael Sera was a mistake.
Let's see how this plays out.

| This is a micheal sera hating thread now

| I hate how he is basically even more of a white nerd than scott the woz

| I hate his shitty curly hairs

| i hate his timid smile, no way this dude is getting bitches

| I hate his wife, i mean look at her

| You know what, i just realized i said sera and not cera and i don't even care

The movie didn't make him an incel, he was always an incel, casting an actor who oozes such powerful incel energy just made it more obvious
Science Saru is too good for such trash, I hope they're getting well paid for it at least

He was an incel in the comics and the movies, the main difference is that in the comics, he kinda learns and gets it's a bad thing.
Imagine making an adventure time movie where finn gets princess bubble at the end.

How is Scott an incel? At least in the comics, the guy went through several relationships even before the story started. He was just an asshole.

| >>829685 in the original ending of the movie Scott leaves ramona and goes back to knives. The studio had them change the ending after screening tests.

| Wait... remind me what makes Scott an incel? I haven't seen the movie since it was in theatres, but I don't remember him hating women or anything extreme like that. At worst, he was a cringey self-insert who simped for a manic pixie dream girl. Even in the traditional sense of the incel label, I'm pretty sure Scott had partners before Ramona, so it doesn't apply. You could certainly say he had an entitled attitude, but I think modern inceldom implies something far more sinister.

People that can only talk in buzzwords exists, you know. Stop harassing them by questioning the terminology used.

| >>830668 you mean redditor? well at least they didn't talk using hashtags
