Anime where they speak normally

| Anyone... Knows any? Like, actually like normal spoken japanese. Not dramatised, not ultra pronounced, not moe, just normal. Legitimately curious

| It may not completely count, but the second half of every Himote House episode is an improv section where the cast responds to prompts in character, and they mostly use their normal voices (or at the very least voices much more like their real ones than the voices they use in the scripted scenes). Very glad that you gave me an excuse to bring this anime up, because I fucking love it.

| Garden of Words… Ghost in the Shell come to mind. Perhaps certain Ghibli films

| Odd taxi, sing "yesterday" for me (sometimes)

| I mean every non-shonen anime. Japanese are actualy dramatizing their reaction.

On Japanese TV, sure. But irl? Not much.

| Just watch documentary, TV interview, or listen to jap podcasts

I have no idea why you bother finding it in anime where the medium is known for having high pitch voices. What's next? Finding children show with cyberpunk aesthetic?

| >>767169 You say this as if a cyberpunk childrens show would not be fucking awesome

>He doesn't know about swedish christmas specials

| I think you have to look at indie productions or shorts. Anime is just mellow dramas for dweebs.

| >>767169 The point was me being curious about whether something like that even exists, not me looking for an anime like that because it's specifically what I wanna watch

| Ghost in the Shell

| Mostly good anime movies not geared towards kids or teenagers.
Also ovas geared towards adults

| mellow dramas for dweebs are awesome!
