| Jojo, or Fate/Zero both are very personal for me... and pulled me through some tough times
| I've only been into anime since 2014, and so far one of my all time favorites is Psycho Pass. I know it's a little more mainstream but both Psycho Pass and Serial Experiments Lain are easily in my top 5 for best story telling and world building. Not to mention both have excellent visuals and cinematography to them.

The best imo is Mawaru Penguindrum. Excellent execution and style leading up to one of the most emotional and thematically charged finales of anything I've ever seen.
A close second is Katanagatari, for much the same reasons.
