| Here is something more elegand and destructive. Simply uninstall EVERYTHING the proper way(at least if you run an Arch based system):

ummm hey sweaty that's pretty cute but i don't use the "Arch GNU+Linux" distribution. i use LFS also known as "Linux From Scratch" so all your "elegant and destructive" package manager tricks have no effect on me.

pacman -Qq (--query --quiet) spits out a list of every installed package. pacman -Rs (--remove --recursive) uninstalls whatever package is specified, in this example the list it receives via the pipe.
