Lain how can we update without losing our user prefs?

And watched threads, since the new version isn't on the playstore yet.
When I try and install the apk it says that the package conflicts with a package of the same name. I usually just uninstall the old one and then install the new one, but I don't wanna lose my stuff this time.

Yeah if you uninstall then it's going to wipe your preferences. That's an Android thing, there's nothing I can do about that. Also, it's on the play store here in the US. What country are you in?

South Africa, but I just looked again and it seems like I have updated, my bad.
Still can't figure out how to hide threads though.

No wait, I just checked my app version and it's still 4.2.4,but the app store isn't giving me an opinion to update, also shows that it's 4.2.5 on the app store so idk...
