Let alone privacy, Until data breaches directly causes a lot of financial loss for people impacted, most people won't care.
Tech companies collecting your data to sell you ad is literally nothing, because it is ignorable.

Imagine as if someone was watching over you when you were sitting on the toilet. That is like allowing big tech guys walking with you all the time and documenting everything you do, but instead of them being physically near you they are in your devices. I can't go back.
