So apparently Poettering left Red Hat
| from a user perspective most software i've used that required his libs has been jank, so i'm kindof indiffrent to this

Poetterings "contributions" to GNU/Linux always gave me negative flashbacks from times I had to deal with windows.
His software too often violated basic paradigms that I find so awesome about GNU/Linux. It always felt like he wanted to port the mistakes and flaws from Microsoft to the GNU/Linux world.
