the dead internet theory is not a legend

| 4chan was a masonic lodge and then it ceased to be it
It's like a void left, but physics hates void, so shit always comes after the fart
this overlapped more or less with a trump win thanks to the use of social media
what was once done for fun has been taken over by pr agencies
tweeter accounts with 20k tweets
reddit which has collapsed below its former level
millions of political teenagers on facebook, i mean meta
it all sounds so obvious, until you see it with your own eyes

| you spend the evening on such a private investigation because it is impossible to tell
and you wouldn't believe me anyway
let's say I know someone from such a pr agency and I didn't believe it at the beginning
maybe you think that bots and paid posters are slightly 20% or 50% of the internet
the truth is worse
doesn't matter where you start
fb, twitter, reddit, discord

| look for controversial political topics and you will finally stumble upon the footsteps of a giant monster
you don't even know how big
even the biggest cynics from /u/ would not believe how little internet is natural or human
and why people actually stick to smaller sites like this one
you expect bots to post politician memes or memes with a politician
unfortunately, that's not it
they're professionals spitting out such wholesale venom that's rare here

| wishing death and calling eachother trash is level 1
and very little of it is positive content
most of it is just winding this legendary spiral of hate and provoking fights in the comments to keep the flow
danger/u/ is literally a comfy basement in that regard where the only signs of that poison are spambots on /a/ and sometimes outsiders will call eachother out
when you enter the world of people who are paid for trolling, you will see real bullshit

| the same thing that spills out of the norm when they read that someone is abusing a pet
suddenly they go back to the stone age and want to murder and this is absolutely mass production on a scale, as I already mention, beyond evaluation
if you don't know, it's about a system of algorithms that drive themselves and pr companies creating artificial demand for their own services

| I am writing about it here because I know that g/u/rls have a good will and it will not turn into a politician on discord
when I first found out about it, it sounded like a fairy tale or a funny schizotheory
ps. wikipedia is the biggest dung, least people are aware of it although a lot of metadata is readily available
you know what's the worst about it?
we people could fuel this machine back in the day and pr wouldn't stand a chance against it

| Build websites again I say.

| Good

| my brain disintegrated from reading the first sentence

dead internet more like dead English

>first sentence
There are no dots

| this is actually a pretty reasonable post if you ignore the fact that OP wrote it like a fucking idiot lol. but also, OP, you made a mistake by looking for controversial politics in the first place. because all of those internet arguments, when they aren't perpetrated by bots, are between two groups of people who ultimately don't actually give a shit about what they're arguing about. there are more actual people in places you put effort into.

grammer remarks are just petty mockery, which is fitting considering they made a ~500 word post about ppl problems on /tech

| >>850121 it's not grammar that's the problem, it's the edge.>it all sounds so obvious, until you see it with your own eyes
when you're writing stuff like that of course things are gonna look bleak. sure, the problem exists either way, but does this mean the internet is not worth using? it depends on how you manage your online presence and your bullshit tolerance levels, but you can still find a way around the problem.

| i like your thinking
