YouTube vanced got taken down by google
| I assume you know of them but you can use Newpipe, Libretube, and I think Vuetube is still in the works but it might be the best drop in replacement of Vanced.

Stuff you need an account for which is only is provided by one company is not "basic stuff".

I switched phones lately, transferred the manager apk, installed that, and got Vanced normally.
I think it's just that it won't be updated anymore (the devs indicated it may take two years for the API to break).
And essentially you can replace with Firefox + addons (sponsorblock, adblock, play while muted), it just came in a convenient package.
