Do you think that TV broadcast is dying/dead? I mean TV in traditional way (please forget about things as VoD)
Do you think that technologies as Satellite broadcast, Cable TV, or DVB will become something as radio broadcast (for minority of people what doesn't use internet actively) or it will be still mainstream for example upcoming 5-30 years? i'm curious about your opinions ^^

Hmm, radio isn't too obsolete because of car drivers. With TV, it may be a bit harder. However, satellite TV isn't a bad option. Especially for cruise ships.

>>839912 i was by it thinking physical radio, but truth is that in cars is radio still used.. but maybe it's also caused by because all cars aren't so digitalised yet. maybe when will electric cars become standart and they will have android, maybe will people more use things as tunein radio or spotify.. or maybe something totally else...
btw. you was on cruise ship?! :o how it is like there? i never was tbh xd

OTA channels are probably safe for many years as It's an important source of info for poor people, cable will stick around but it'll because the lesser of the income streams for the cable companions until they finally rebuild cable by offering a service where you pay Comcast and you get access to *all these streaming services at your fingertips* and then you have cable again just with a new coat of paint and a handful of different companies

And Comcast will rent you a Comcast branded Roku for $10 a month

>>839935 Sadly I haven't been to in reality. Only in an imagination - there's no VHF nor cable TV service in an ocean, so I guess it could work like that.
However, visiting one has to be cool!

I don't know what your on about traditional TV has been superseded it's dead, pagers outlived it. every "tv" i've seen for several years has just been a monitor runnig IPTV or a smart tv runnig some streaming service.
could be a regional thing i guess?
