| I picture it as an open source VR chat, maybe VR version of Mastodon. That's it. Blockchain is optional. There will be a big thing that uses blockchain and a different thing that uses traditional hackable private database that protects themselves by being small and run by friends and individuals. Both will be quite popular, but not as popular as "Zuccverse" or other proprietary services that are pre-installed in the consumer VR gears.

| I hate the idea of the "metaverse." Have you even seen the walmart demonstration. Its like an inescapable hell. Soulless and corporate driven. At least vrchat has people making content they wanna see, and there's a variety. That's what makes vrchat its own thing. The metaverse is just gonna be a hollow fraction of vrchat. I doubt they'll let you release or upload any personal avatars that are commissioned or otherwise. Just to keep a friendly brand image.

I guess considering the accessibility of their Quest headsets now it makes sense they're going to make something that will compete against VRChat and Rec Room, just more corporate, has a bunch of NFTs (which I still don't understand much and don't hand the time to spend)...
