It takes about 10 hours for a file of 1.5 gigabytes from google chrome to download on my computer. Is there something wrong with my computer?

assuming you gava accurate info you eather have a internet connection of ~300kbps the website your downloading from could have a connection of ~300kbps or something is seriously wrong like something along the lines of your drive is about to die

use download manager instead for downloading those big file. 'free download manager' is free (just like the name)

Also, if you're speed is slow which you said it's from your phone it won't help, they use multiple connections to download faster if the site has an arbitrary limit but it doesn't matter if your internet is already slow
