My LG monitor recently has been acting up, in that I need to actually put extra pressure on the power cable in the port for it to actually get power. From the first time I got it, the port has already been soft, like it will kinda stretch inside if I try to plug in the power cable. It used to be able to turn on, but now the "looseness" has gotten even worse. Is there any solution to this or do I just scrap it?

Open it, look at the port. If it's replaceable - replace it, if it's soared in the board BBC- you're fucked.

Try another power chord maybe. Sometimes a new one sticks better.
