aesthetic windows app

| idk why i care so much but if there is a windows app with dark theme and/or custom gui that doesn't suck i'd choose them over the alternative.

so far, i only know MPC-BE, atom, and firefox. idk if there is anything else out there. maybe an edgy torrent app? i'd love an edgy torrent app

| Stuck in Windows and you're looking for that kind of thing? That sucks.

Either way, I think you can do UxStyle modding and have the rest of the OS themed dark? I mean, that'll tint most of the UI components anyway, so does that count?

| Google 'Reddit Unixporn'

Isn't that basically like forcing someone to watch their dog to be brutally put to a grinder?

OP is using Windows, doubt she can use any kind of WM to achieve the aesthetics of unixporn.

| I have a solution for your Problem:
DON'T FUCKING USE WINDOS!!!

| use raimeter

| >>66488 my problem is i want a good-looking app alternatives to replace plain looking ones. how does that solve my problem at all?

You could use an open System, based on shared libraries and open standards. This enables you to customize the look and feel of the system on diffrent levels up to everything. Even hardcoded themes (which is a pretty annoying thing) can be changed if the source is open.
In the Windows World this often is only achievable by reverse engineering or installing whacky spy- and/or bloatware on your system.

If only the world would rely less on Windows, but sadly that's not the case.

| Linux is superior to windows.

| >>67828 indeed, but i just want some edgy apps that isn't virus-kinda edgy

| >>67828
That's up to debate, but yeah, let's save that for later.

So, have you found that dark, edgy torrent app? If you haven't, try Deluge! It supports theming, so you can freely switch themes — it's also cross platform and it works beautifully on my Windows machine. It had replaced uTorrent ever since.

Now we are talking. Thanks, I'll check it out

| Most windows programs obey the system theme, some of the high contrast ones are pretty edgy.
