| I also don't see this being implemented, but the source is available at https://github.com/nilesr/United4 so you could theoretically compile a version with some of your own music added (although it wouldn't be able to update through google play/fdroid).

| oh, i misinterpreted the question. i think full featured music player would be overkill so your best bet is forking the app
| tho, if you do fork the app, might as well code a feature to play external music
