So i have just made a pirate box on a pi 3 and played about with it. have any of you g/u/rls done made one? did you get any interesting files/chats?
thinking of taking it to conventions and seeing what happens.

Make sure it's append-only. Don't let people delete stuff from the box or everything might suddenly dissapear. Some people are just angry and mean.

OP here: I used the pre made iso from the pirate box site, and changed all the passwords before setting it up. I might do a test run at a coffee shop this weekend and see what happens on it.

I setup some "Pirate Boxes" years ago with openwrt/LEDE as firmware on a normal router. Actually there even were people that spend money for this kind of work^^ My own box died two months ago during a system upgrad :-(
