I took a look at Distrowatch out of curiosity and apparently this is one of the most popular distros on there now, but I've never heard of anyone using it. I'm wondering if they got it mixed up with Arch for some reason since it's apparently based on it and Arch is way down the list now. Does anyone know what the deal is?

I heard of it! Only the name though- this is just like a cyberpunk mystery where it’s actually an ai!!

Remember, it is better do not use distro fork, i.e. distro based on other distro, except Fedora (or maybe CentOS).

Its a gaming distro a-la steamOS but for everyone. I regularly run into gaming discussions where users use it.

The distro is also probably using the same trick MX linux uses with autovoting on distrowatch on install

>>1061855 At least cos its updateshave more time lag, i.e. the base distro updates must be adopted to the current one.

>>1062146 You think? I don't. Also maintainers redesigns their distros by own foggy idea, and sometimes it is so ridiculous. Big example *buntu. For Arch the fork with gui pre-installed I think isn't important, it is not a rocket science, Arch Wiki is enough good. Frequently, the base distro's repository is more rich than subdistro's one. You can assemble your own subdistro, why you needs alien hamsters in head, when you have own ones?
