Start with SICP, cover to cover. Then "Computer Organization and Design The Hardware/Software interface". After that learn C, look at something from https://www.iso-9899.info/wiki/Main_Page
If you want to be an engineer read "The Making Of Expert Engineer" by Trevelyan. This one also cover to cover, super important.
If you want to be SWE specifically also read "The Software Engineers Guidebook" by Orosz, it will tell you how it is in the industry.

Strongly recommended follow-ups are "Concrete Mathematics" by Knuth, "Introduction to Algorithms" by CLRS (cover to cover highly recommended), any high-level systems language - C++/Java/C#/Go, pick any, Python (official online guide is enough).
