Previously I've been relying on AdBlocker for YouTube™ + umatrix and haven't had any problems whatsoever for over a decade but recently the videos have started to pause 40% into the videos and I'm assuming it's trying to load a commercial or something. How is it working on your end and are you using any adblockers at all?

This is how I've been doing it: Block everything in umatrix except for css, images, and under XHR I only allow googlevideo.com and jnn-pa.googleapis.com.
Videos used to work flawlessly by blocking jnn-pa.googleapis.com until a few days ago.

I also use ublock origin and I tend to switch things up with VPNs but maybe I should try different countries for a while.

Yeah, it was umatrix that blocked certain scripts from loading before ublock origin could get to them. Never imagined that would be a problem, but now I have to allow them in umatrix only so ublock can block them.

Firefox uBlock Origin. You don't need anything else. Chrome based browsers ad blocking is after some strong lobotomy.

>>1036184 umatrix blocks so much unwanted bullshit from even loading that it extends my battery life on my laptops by a noticable amount
and if you use a low-end pc like an eeepc or something similar then umatrix a must because of all the bloat some sites comes with. it blocks over 100 XML HttpRequests on youtube alone without compromising the user experience

Live inside a forest cabin without electronics except the ones you make yourself from the sand you find
But you won't escape the ads, one day you'll see high up on the sky satellites with big displays to manipulate you with ads while getting Rick'd sometimes and be grateful that some hackers exist to make this happen, not even in the worst dystopian movies you'll see this happen, but it will eventually one day, or even today
