And it's so bad in rap. Every time I see someone say that about a rapper it's just some random white boy who makes generic songs and knows nothing about the genre or the culture just trying to cash in some easy checks from those exact people.
It's very true in other genres as well though, and it's just, sad. When people's music opinions are based on closemindedness and ignorance and shit that isn't the actual music it's just depressing.

Mumble rap is a term that was created specifically to discredit young black rappers coming up from places like SoundCloud. If you've ever listened to it in your life you may notice that what they say is very clear and not mumbling at all, and that it is in fact a stereotype.

Bitch, it ain't just the following. Those lines are copy pasted from 3 random songs I clicked on on his Genius page. And there were plenty lines like that to choose from in all of them, and every single song I clicked through after had nothing but that exact same garbage.

He takes this genre and drags it through the mud using stolen flows and shittier versions of beats that already exist, and on top of that uses it to promote conspiracy theories, transphobia and say shit like systemic racism not being real and black people being overly sensitive and BLM being the reason why there's a racial divide in the world.
