I can't find anything as good as Yes

| Apart from classical music (I'm slowly getting into it but I still prefer the newer genres). Can anybody recommend something that can compete with all of this amazing musicanship, polyphony, dynamics, excitiment and diversity Yes incorporated into their music throughout 70s?

| Symphonic Metal maybe? Although I don't know Yes it kind of fits your describtion.

| Not really, yes kinda slaps

| Yes is my favourite prog band after King Crimson. Fragile still slaps and Close to the Edge is a classic. I'd recommend 70-80s KC works, especially
- In the Court
- Islands
- Red
- Larks' Tongue in Aspic
- Discipline

Selling England by the Pound by Genesis is also good.
