Standing on my balcony, watering my fake-plants overlooking midnight, I just had a funny thought; the kind of thoughts you get when you're in a pensive mood y'know? like when you're watering plasic plants despite knowing it doesn't do jack for them (Yes, I'm aware it doesn't just let me have this). I just was thinking; man things have been quiet, like I could hear my TV at a normal volume, no screaming reporting about riots or hospital attacks... It's been a nice year. -OS

>>970775 It's an odd feeling for sure, being able to look at the clouds and think "yeah this is nice". Been ever since I moved here I hadn't thought that. Maybe It's the oldness creeping in. -OS

Well, if you're hearing shit I ain't hearing that needs some fixing, help an aging half-deaf man out, eh? Tell me what needs fixing and I'll get it done. -Impulse

... You probably should be thankful of quiet moments like those. It's not a everyday thing in this place. ... I like those quiet moments amidst the usual noise in this insomnia-driven city. .......... ......that being said, it has been a nice year indeed. ... -Whiskey

You're kidding yourselves if you think this city is any nicer than before. Underneath the surface it's still the same toxic unethical hellhole of a fevre dream.

>>971507 ... ....there's no need to go that pessimistic. .... I think it has good moments and nice things, every once in a while. .... What do you propose anyway?... leaving the city? ... -Whiskey
