Juusei's Blog #1!

| Hello, friends. My name is Juusei… at least that's the name I've decided upon, cute isn't it? It's the sound a gun makes when it goes …pow! I don’t care much for firearms but I just adore fireworks! \( ̄▽ ̄)/Anyway... my employer gave me permission to post a blog every month as a form of... therapy... maybe? So first, I’d like to thank [REDACTED] for making this all possible!

| I suppose I’d like to get in the habit of posing you all a question… maybe? Have you ever mistaken someone on the street for someone you know? GC is such a huge city with so much technology that it’s made me wonder if everyone here has their very own doppelganger!

| The other day, a strange man nearly twice my size picked me up off the floor and nearly squeezed the life out of me!(×﹏×) He said he knew me and tried to offer me free food but… then I started to think, what if the real*Juusei was getting cheated out of a free meal so I ran awayyy… But wow these doppelgangers must be ultra convincing! So I’ll ask again, have you ever mistaken someone from their doppelganger? Have you met yours?! I want to meet Juusei #2!

Til, Next Time!

>what if the real juusei was getting cheated out of a free meal

soooooo.......youre not the the real one??????

Hello DEADEYE! I suppose it's more complicated than that... or less complicated...maybe? ┐(︶▽︶)┌ I am the genuine article at least from my perspective but what of the perspective of other's?

Prospective Juusei #2 is more real than me within her own circle!

| >>891146
whatll you do if you find her???

-DEADEYE

| >>891148

Have her buy me lunch of course!
( ´(00)ˋ ) I left her one, so I consider it a fair trade! If she's truly my doppelganger... she would understand!

That would assume she has the same personality as you-- or that somehow, the knowledge between the two of you is inherently shared.

Is that how this sort of thing works?

How do I explain... That man was dead sure I was who he believed I was, for that I am almost certain! This may sound a tad romantic but don't you agree that if you were to meet an identical clone of your mother that your heart could tell the difference even in ways even your logical mind could not? I reason that I am so close to my doppelganger that even this difference is negligible.

I think...maybe?

... Juusei, I'd like to pick your brain regarding something on this same topic, if that's alright with you?

-Hawkeye

| >>891171

Of course... That was my intention after all!

Alright. How to phrase this...

If an absolutely perfect copy of a person is created, and then one day the original person from which said copy was produced ceased to exist... Would it be incorrect to consider the copy to be same as the original person?

When I say "absolutely perfect", I mean down to every last molecule.

I would argue that the death of the original, or let's say... format being, marks the beginning of absolute differentiation... wouldn't you agree? If one ceases to exist they cease to grow, cease to feel, cease to think, cease to *change*. When one dies, they lose the means to build upon what makes them unique... at least that's how I see it.
