Ilsa's boring thread of boring things
| Hey-ooo~! Gomi here! I scavenge GC for only the finest of garbage! So the other day I was minding my own business digging around a landfill just outside of Motor and found what seriously seems like giant metal bat wings. But here's the thing, right? They seem like they were actually augments designed to fit onto some poor sap's wrists! Like bro, how do you even eat? I don't know if this passes as "exotic technology" but it's still really weird.

Anything on the chassis indicating make or designer?

Just did a look over it, seems kinda scuffed but definitely operational. The only thing I can find on the chassis are the letters "A" and "R" but it looks like scraped paint. Even though they're pretty slender and lightweight, seems like they're made of pretty stern stuff. Some kind of reinforced nanocarbon if I were to make a guess but I'm just a junker, not an engineer.

I have not, I usually try to keep up to date on milspec gear, but I tend to not catalogue PMC issued materiel, they usually don't like sharing their blueprints and specs anyway.

ARES seems likely, Unless it's some weird junk AUCR or ARC made some time ago. Definitely seems military grade though, maybe some wacko mercenary or PMC had some connections or some corpo decided "natural flight" for humans would be a funny idea and decided to try it first on some hired gun they picked up off the streets.
