Iilsa's boring ass tech thread about tech things.

| Hey everyone it's me, Ilsa here, you may remember me from that karaoke incident at stuffer shack a while back, or have read one of my posts in that weird razorkid thread before.

Today I decided I'd just step out of my goblin cage to bring to y'all some more tech tips and tricks along with my great sense of humor in an enjoyable package.

Don't clap just yet eh?

So today I thought I'd talk about powersuits, big ones, WK ones.

| That's right, I'm sure most of you folk remember the pre EDEN days when White Knights were more than just a fading memory and silly badges on GCPD officers sleeves. But were indeed a real force to be reckoned with.

Although to be fair, there ARE still cells of WK still in activity, because of course there are, those are a topic for another time though.

So yeah, White Knights, the private force from Zaibatsu that ruled this town.

| They were well equipped those guys, top of the line everything, down to the guns and the screws on their exos, they had muscle and money... Atleast the division I'll be talking about today did. Let's not beat around the bush though: when we say WK and powersuit in the same phrase, there's one big contender. That's right, The blitzkrieg corps! They used to be shock troops for everything from riots to sieges, they had massive armor, and even bigger balls!

| Today I want to talk about their suits in particular, especially the Type IV power armor that most of you shadow runners might know about, since a lot of its surplus was sold off on the black market after the whole Civil war fiasco.

So Type IV armor, also known as White Knight Class-6 level armor TYPE 4, was an electronically powered exo suit and power armor set-up, meant to receive shots from up to .308 without chipping much and also power the person within so they could wreck.

| It was a hybrid setup in which exterior plates of armor were held together by powered components on a carbon fiber frame outside the armor, the powered components made sure the armor, being fucking heavy moves well, but also packed a punch, A lanky guy wearing this thing could slug a 200 pound guy across a room and break most of his bones, all without lifting a single weight in all his life.

Pair that with someone who's already strong and... Well you get the idea.

| And the form factor was really nifty too, it wasn't all THAT heavy and could be used without power if you were beefy enough. But they did have to sacrifice some armor to achieve that compromise of agility and power, some of the joint are lacking in protection, and often times a good shot in a weak spot was enough to really hurt the person within, maybe even kill or maim them if you were really good or really lucky.

| Reminds me of the techs from NDSec. As much of an assholes that those drekheads are, you gotta give them some credits, they make some neat toys for me to play with.
